Component and chip manufacturer Marvell saw a surge in its shares that took the company to a new peak in value on the stock market. Momentarily, the company was worth US$102 billion, categorically surpassing Intel, which has not been doing well on the stock market lately.
For many PC users, Marvell is known for its SSD controllers. The company, however, offers an extensive portfolio of semiconductor solutions in different computing segments. Many of these components have seen a surge in demand due to the AI boom that has been fueling the industry in recent times.
Thus, Marvell presented an income of US$1.52 billion in its financial report for Q3 2025, exceeding analysts’ expectations. Furthermore, the company predicts even more optimistic numbers for Q4, exceeding US$ 1.8 billion.
Thus, its shares had a big increase last week, which has been falling since then. Still, at the time of writing this post, Marvell is still valued at US$93.44 billion in the financial market. Intel, meanwhile, has an estimated value of US$90.18 billion.
While Marvell rises, Intel falls
Overcoming a giant like Intel is a considerable feat, but Marvell’s rise has as much merit as Intel’s fall in this achievement. As we know, the owner of Core is having one of the worst years in its recent history, resulting in constant drops in its shares. The company’s assets have already fallen by 70% compared to their highest value ever.
