MANLI launches three new RTX 4070 with GDDR6 memory

Now that Nvidia has officially confirmed the new version of the RTX 4070 with GDDR6 memory instead of GDDR6X, more manufacturers are announcing their models of the card. Thus, MANLI has come up with not just one, but a total of three new options of the RTX 4070 with the slower memory.

MANLI cards come in two options with two fans and one with three. One of them is the manufacturer’s traditional “no-name” model, which only indicates GeForce RTX 4070, with a dark green military-style casing. It is a standard GPU model with the same factory clock and 2.5-slot profile.

The other two boards are Polar Fox models, in white – one with two and one with three fans. These options also maintain the same clock and specs, so it ends up being just a visual selection and number of fans.

MANLI is notable, however, for choosing to place a label warning of the difference in memory, even though it is not mandatory. The three new boards from the manufacturer feature a label that indicates “12GB GDDR6” in a very visible way.

In its confirmation of the new card models, Nvidia promised “similar” performance from the RTX 4070 with GDDR6 compared to the GDDR6X version. Of course, “similar” is not the same as “identical,” because the company cannot guarantee that. In any case, they considered that “similar” is enough to not require cards with GDDR6 to indicate this in any way.

Thus, AIB partners are free to indicate or not the type of memory that their new RTX 4070 will use. While MANLI chose to put a seal on the box, we saw several other brands deciding not to do the same. Even before Nvidia’s official statements, there was already a leak of a Galax model with GDDR6 without any indication of the memories.
