Manufacturers such as MSI, Gigabyte, ASUS and ASRock have revealed the list of Intel Z890 motherboards, which will support Arrow Lake CPUs.

In short, they all have compatibility with the LGA-1851 socket and updated connectivity for technologies such as Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6E.

All four brands offer different features with the list of their varied Intel Z890 motherboard lines, such as some supporting Thunderbolt 5; Wi-Fi 7; 2.5GbE and Bluetooth 5.4. In the case of some, support for up to 10GbE is seen – the same seen in the previous generation of mainboards.

In addition, there has been improved work to bring support for higher memory frequencies, with new models being able to support speeds of 9000Mhz or even faster.

Intel Z890 motherboard list: Gigabyte

Gigabyte has revealed a list of 12 new Intel Z890 motherboards, mixing mainstream and high-end models. Obviously the AORUS line takes up a large part of it, with two E-ATX models, five ATC models, two Micro-ATX models and one Mini-ITX.

In the others, we see an E-ATX motherboard, five ATX and a Micro-ATX variant. In addition to the changes mentioned above, another difference incorporated by Gigabyte are the models based on artificial intelligence – such as the Z890 AI TOP and the AORUS Master AI TOP.

Intel Z890 motherboard list: ASUS

ASUS has 13 models of Intel Z890 motherboards on its list, with eleven ATX models, one Mini-ITX and one Micro-ATX. All products are updates to lines that are already established on the market, such as ROG Extreme, APEX, HERO, ROG Strix and several others – except for Maximus Gene, which did not have a variant in this launch.

Regarding the changes, the manufacturer changed its BIOS interface and now renders the UEFI/BIOS in 1920×1080 resolution natively in Full HD. Furthermore, most of the models presented have the PCIe Slot Q-Release, allowing you to remove the GPU without having to release the PCIe lock or even touch it.

Intel Z890 motherboard list: MSI

MSI has nine models of Intel Z890 motherboards on its list, with E-ATX or ATX formats – with the return of some of its lines such as Godlike, Ace, Unify-X, Carbon and Tomahawk, for example.

According to the manufacturer, its entire line of mainboards that will be launched will be capable of running DDR5 memory modules at up to 9200MHz – a significantly greater range than that seen in the Z790 models, which reached below 8000MHz. Unify-X particularly reaches 9600MHz.

Like ASUS, MSI also brought mechanisms to facilitate the installation and removal of video cards and M.2 SSDs. The EZ PCIe Release and EZ PCIe Clip 2 are for GPUs, while the EZ M.2 promises to let you install or remove M.2 SSDs without the need for a screwdriver.

Additionally, they all feature an additional 8-pin PCIe power connector, designed to handle power consumption for AI computing and GPU-heavy tasks. Check out the names of all models below:

Intel Z890 motherboard list: ASRock

Finally, we have ASRock’s list of Intel Z890 motherboards, which features the largest variety of all and will launch 16 models in total. There will be 14 ATX, one Micro ATX and one ITX.

One of the most notable changes is in the Taichi line, which is no longer “singular” but is now accompanied by others like the others – with four variants reaching the market. Taichi Aqua, for example, supports custom loop cooling; The Taichi OCF is specific for overclocking.

According to ASRock, consumers can expect more stable signaling, lower temperatures and greater power consumption efficiency in the new models – as well as mechanisms for removing M.2 SSDs without tools. Check out the names of all models below:
