This will be the brand’s first portable console with the Valve. The information was passed on via release to the international press.
CES 2025 takes place from January 7th. At the fair, several new features for the technology sector will be presented and launched – and it is clear that Lenovo wants to participate in this party with a major launch within its gaming segment.
The report sent to the press says:
“The future of gaming laptops is coming to CES ’25 and you have a front row seat!”.
According to previous leaks, the Legion Go would have a dedicated Steam button. With the information released today, everything indicates that we can expect the new portable console to operate friendly with SteamOS.
Titled “Lenovo Legion vs AMD: The future of gaming notebooks”, Lenovo’s panel at CES 2025 features Valve SteamOS and Steam Deck co-designer Pierre-Loup Griffais, who, according to Lenovo and AMD, is Valve’s chief design architect. Jason Ronald, Microsoft’s vice president of Xbox devices and gaming ecosystem, will also be present – he is now introduced as Microsoft’s “VP of Next Generation”.

The presence of Microsoft at the event may indicate the brand’s marketing reinforcement of including other devices in its campaign “This is an Xbox”, as the announcement of a portable console by the company’s gaming sector seems unlikely at the moment.
