A Lenovo This week announced a new personal workstation model aimed at artificial intelligence. THE ThinkStation PGX It comes with a bold proposal: deliver supercomputer performance in a compact format, accessible to researchers, developers and students.
Power for generative models of up to 200 billion parameters
Projected on the new Superchip Grace Blackwell GB10 da NVIDIA, ThinkStation PGX is able to reach Up to 1 Petaflop of AI Performance (1000 Tops in FP4 accuracy with Sparsity), a value that makes it possible to process complex generative models with up to 200 billion parameters.
For even larger projects, it is possible to interconnect two units and double the capacity, reaching models with 405 billion parameters.

Unified memory and ready -to -use tools
The system has 128 GB of coherent unified memoryallowing experiments, fine adjustments and inference of state -of -the -art neural networks without bottlenecks.
The station comes with the NVIDIA DGX system already installedin addition to the company’s complete AI software pile, including widely used frameworks as Pythorch and tools like Jupyter.
This enables the developer to start his projects immediately, with the same environment he will find in clusters or in the cloud.
From the bench to the Data Center without friction
One of the great differentials of PGX is the ease of transition between environments. By adopting the NVIDIA AI platform software architecture, the station allows locally trained models to be easily migrated to cloud infrastructures or accelerated data centers, with very few or no change in code.
Such a resource reduces the time between prototyping and production, and releases computational resources for larger -scale tasks.
ThinkStation PGX offers a powerful and economical platform for the development of AI applications, simplifying the entire prototyping, adjustment and implementation process

Lenovo has positioned PGX as part of a wider line of AI -prepared workstations, both in desktops and mobile models of the ThinkPad P line.
The company has not yet released specific information on additional settings, storage, or final prices. However, the model is expected to be marketed in the US$ 3.000 a US$ 4.000 (About R $ 15 thousand to R $ 20 thousand, without fees and taxes)similar to the value of products equipped with the same chip, such as Asus and Nvidia systems.
The ThinkStation PGX launch is scheduled for the third quarter of 2025.
