Rumors have long appeared that AMD is preparing a refresh for its Hawk Point family of processors, in a new series that should be called Ryzen 200. Now, the famous “leaker” Everest (@Olrak_29) has posted what could be the complete list of these components, including PRO variants.
According to unofficial information, the Ryzen 200 will be aimed at more affordable products, coming without the NPU that puts “AI” in the Ryzen AI 300 series. We can even notice that the new family does not include Ryzen 9 variants, yet another indication of which are focused on cost x benefit.
To make it easier to view and locate the processors, the following is a transcript of the list:

- Ryzen 7 255
- Ryzen 7 250
- Ryzen 5 240
- Ryzen 5 230
- Ryzen 5 220
- Ryzen 3 210
- Ryzen 7 PRO 250
- Ryzen 5 PRO 230
- Ryzen 5 PRO 220
- Ryzen 3 PRO 210
PRO variants of Ryzen components generally have the same specifications, but with more security technologies aimed at the professional segment.
Previous leaks indicate that the Ryzen 200 series should offer up to 8 Zen 4 cores, with 12 CUs RDNA 3.5 GPUs. This would be the maximum configuration, found in the Ryzen 7 260, which can be considered a refresh of the Ryzen 7 8845.
AMD may present its Ryzen 200 at CES 2025
Preparing a whole new series of processors with a focus on low prices, AMD needs to reveal really good prices to draw attention to the Ryzen 200. This is because the Hawk Point series was already a refresh of Phoenix Point, which came out with the commercial name Ryzen 7000 .
Ryzen 7000 APUs relied on NPUs for AI processing, depending on the model. So, for the more advanced SKUs, it would be possible to argue that the Ryzen 200 comes in below two previous generations. In other words, it is expected that such disadvantages will be compensated by the price.
