A Motorola will announce its new Moto Razr next week. The unveiling of the long-awaited foldable cell phone is scheduled for June 25th, also known as Next Tuesday. The information was confirmed through teasers on the company’s official channels.
The teasers promise innovations “smart inside and out“. On Instagram, the official Android account started the countdown. Sergio Buniac, global president of Motorola, declared on social media that the launch will transform users’ lives and foster exciting partnerships.

Anticipating the Samsung, which plans to present its new foldables soon, Motorola seeks to stand out. Rumors suggest that Samsung will choose Paris, the venue for the Olympics, to promote the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6, in addition to introducing the Galaxy Ring on Unpacked, scheduled for July 10th.
At the moment, the Razr lineup includes the Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra, the latter with a flashy 3.6-inch external display. Both models promise three years of Android updates and four years of security support.
The Razr 50 Ultra is expected to come with a MediaTek processor, 12GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage and a price of approximately US$1,000 in the US. The spotlight can turn to the functionalities of artificial intelligencea growing trend in the sector — like Realme, Apple and Samsung. Motorola has been incorporating innovations through Moto AI. And remember that resources are being developed here in Brazil.
Rodrigo Vidigal, head of Motorola in Brazil, reported in November 2023 about the company’s focus on expanding its presence in the premium segment, investing in both the Razr series and the Edge line.
