Inzoi and Khazan Devs recommend not using newer NVIDIA Drivers on RTX 40 and 30

Stability problems in NVIDIA’s latest drivers on previous models of your video cards have resulted in game developers start to recommend not updating. Bugs look more common in the RTX 40 GPUS, but may also affect RTX 30 plates.

WCCFTECH staff found at least two examples of recent known games suggesting to use old drivers: Inzoi and The First Berserker: Khazan. Interestingly, drivers recommendations are basically identical in both cases. The capture below shows the recommendations for Inzoi:

In both cases, the latest driver 572.83 is recommended for RTX 50 boards. Meanwhile, in RTX models 40 the two games recommend version 566.36 of the driver, released in December 2024. The recommendation comes from a warning that the latest version causes stuttering and performance problems in these plates.

It is noteworthy that in the case of RTX 30 or older the recommendation, at first, is the latest version of the same driver. The 566.36 driver is suggested only if problems appear using the new version.

Anterior versions of the drivers serve only for GPUS RTX 40 or older

Nvidia seems to be facing problems in developing its latest drivers. In addition to the bugs that can still appear in the RTX 40 series, even for the latest video cards of the RTX 50 generation appeared inconvenients in the premiere of the 572.xx updates.

Problems for Blackwell -based plates seem to have been corrected in the latest updates. And this is important because RTX 50 users have no choice, since 566.xx versions of drivers do not support the newer signs.
