Inwin features 1 meter cabinet with light show that opens with magic wand

Taiwanese manufacturer Inwin presented, during Computex 2025, the Chronomancy Cabinet, a commemorative model that celebrates the company’s 40th anniversary. With a height of 1.1 meters and design inspired by tropies and time capsules, the cabinet draws attention by the use of materials such as curved aluminum, glass and acrylic.

In addition, the structure incorporates visual elements of classic cases of the brand and even the format of Inwin’s headquarters, which is in Taoyuan. Inwin developed Chronomancy as a limited edition piece.

At the top of the cabinet, the user finds visual references to the manufacturer’s most emblematic offices, which the company recorded directly on the RGB lighting structure. Below, the curved part houses state-of-the-art components, including E-ATX motherboards and GeForce RTX 50 video cards.

In addition to commemorative design, Inwin has integrated an automated opening and closing system that works through a “magic wand”. The accessory accompanies the cabinet and allows you to control the mechanism with gestures. The user must press a button, wait for the purple light to light on the tip of the wand and then slide to the desired side to open or close the structure.

In addition, the same accessory activates musical reproduction by rotating the wand in circular motions. For now, the system only offers a few predefined bands, but Inwin said it intends to expand the catalog in the future. The company also evaluates allowing the user himself to add custom songs to the system.

The visual effect stands out when the structure opens completely, revealing the interior of Chronomancy.
