Revealed during The Game Awards 2024, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is the new franchise from the popular Naughty Dog, the name behind franchises such as Uncharted and The Last of Us. The new game is described as a science fiction project, which promises to offer players incredible adventures.
The protagonist of the title Jordan A. Munskilled bounty hunter who ended up lost on a planet known as Sempiria. Speaking of the protagonist, who will be played by Tati Gabrielle, she is among the highlights of a group of images in high resolution shared by Leandro Amaralwho acts as Lead Cinematic Lighter for this project.
His role in the project has a direct influence on the atmosphere that the game manages to create in terms of ambience, combining different techniques to create the cinematic lighting aspect of the game.
Amaral says he is extremely excited to share his lighting work in this trailer for Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet,
“Being part of a completely new franchise from one of the industry’s most celebrated game studios was an unforgettable experience. The team did very well, and I am very proud to have contributed. My role included visual development, color correction, and character lighting in all of the scenes below, as well as collaborating with our lighting director, Mark Shoaf, on background lighting. A huge thanks to Sebastian Gromann for the phenomenal art direction. All of this was captured on a PS5 using our proprietary engine. I hope you like it!, he added.

When will Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet be released?
This information has not yet been confirmed. It is speculated that the game should be released between mid-2026 and 2027.
