Intel is working on a new dedicated graphics card with 300W TBP, shipping documents indicate. The leak quickly raised suspicions again for the elusive Arc B770.
The documents in question mention a bracket for a 300W GPU and appeared repeatedly between September and October, indicating that this is not an error or typo. Additionally, VideoCardz mentions that the code N38341-001, indicative of the part in the documentation, uses a similar scheme to M19826-306, which was the code for an Arc B580 before release.

The 300W puts this mysterious new card from Intel considerably above what the company’s current GPU models use. The Arc B580 has a TBP of 190W, with the B570 dropping to 150W. In the last generation the models used more energy, but even the 16GB A770 was at 225W.
Intel Arc B770 appears in rumors again
For a long time, rumors and leaks constantly appeared about an alleged Arc B770, a new high-end model of Intel’s dedicated graphics card. It would be based on the BMG-G31 GPU, larger and more powerful than the BMG-G21 used in the B580 and B570 models.
Unofficial information pointed to a reveal at the end of the year, but it’s already December and we haven’t seen anything official yet. However, the 300W GPU bracket appears to align with what is expected from a supposed Arc B770.

It would be curious to see Intel invest in this card so late in the generation, especially at a time when we are seeing hardware components suffer very prohibitive price increases due to the scarcity of the memory market.

We also cannot rule out the possibility of a new dedicated graphics card option for professional use. It is worth remembering that the Intel Arc Bro B60 Dual – which incorporates two GPUs – reaches 400W of TBP.
