Intel Arc integrated graphics and video cards received a new driver update this week. The update arrives in beta phase, bringing driver version 101.6083 to optimize games like Silent Hill 2 on Intel graphics. As always, we have optimizations in other games, corrections and improvements with the update.
Intel seems like it didn’t want to miss the release date of the Silent Hill 2 remake, launching its new driver in beta on the same date as the game’s debut. The update also brings Game Ready optimization to Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero and for Diablo IV’s new DLC, the Vessel of Hatred.
God of War Ragnarok on PC, which had already been optimized in a previous update, receives improvements in the new driver version. According to Intel, the framerate improves by up to 9% in FullHD with Ultra settings, and up to 34% at 1440p resolution, also in Ultra.
Concluding the improvements part, the beta of driver 101.6083 fixes an FC 25 bug on Arc A series video cards. The game showed intermittent corruption with the color green, in the menu and in gameplay.
Intel lists known issues in new driver
As always, with any driver release, Intel highlights known bugs and issues that the update does not yet fix. And this time the list includes a new problem in Silent Hill 2 with the integrated graphics.
Users of Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors who try to run the new remake on their Arc iGPU may experience crashes while trying to open the game. Star Wars Outlaws is also experiencing crashes in the series and Final Fantasy XVI may have texture corruption during gameplay.
