Intel optimizes Dragon Age: The Veilguard and RDR on its GPUs with new beta driver

Intel has made a new driver available in the beta phase so as not to miss the arrival of major releases on PC at the end of the month. Thus, driver 101.6130 optimizes integrated and dedicated Arc GPUs for titles such as Dragon Age: The Veilguard and Red Dead Redemption, remastered version.

Speaking of remasters, the new driver also optimizes Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered with Game Ready. Redacted completes the list of games supported in the update.

According to the update details, Dragon Age and the Horizon Zero Dawn remaster seem especially favored by the update. Intel says that loading times in The Veilguard are “significantly improved” on the integrated Arc graphics of Core Ultra Series 2 processors. In Horizon, there are improvements of up to 6% in fps count, with the game in FullHD with graphics options at “very high”.

Unfortunately, Intel did not provide the same level of detail about the improvements that its new driver brings to other games optimized by the update. Once again, we remind you that driver 101.6130 is in beta, and should have a WHQL release later.

Intel does not fix old known issues

Bringing Game Ready to the big PC launches at the end of October really seems to have been Intel’s biggest priority in its new driver. This is because the update does not fix any of the known issues in relation to its last version.
