Intel’s new generation of Nova Lake processors must have gaming -focused performance increments compared to the current generation. While the decision may seem obvious, actually Arrow Lake processors focused so much on efficiency that gaming performance did not have the expected evolution.

That’s why Intel seems to have a renewed focus on games with the Nova Lake line. At least this is what indicates the leakage of a supposed slide of the company, talking about the products.

The above capture came from the @g_melo_ding account. It’s a clipping of what seems to be a slide from Intel, but we currently have no confirmations, so the famous skepticism is always good.

In the clipping Intel would be promising 1.1 time more performance in single-thread and up to 1.6 time more in multi-gread. That is, an increase of 10% and 60% compared to Arrow Lake, respectively.

What draws attention is not just the promise of more performance, but also the highlight in “leading performance for games”, showing an intention from Intel that their new CPUs are attractive to games.

Supposed leak confirms “Low-Power Island” in Nova Lake

Another interesting detail that appears in the leak is the mention of a “New Low-Power Island”, referring to the LP nuclei that should be introduced in the Nova Lake series.

The information aligns with the great leak we had previously revealed details about the nuclei of various models of the new processor series. In all cases the so -called “island” appears, with 4 LP nuclei. Thus, the most advanced model would total 52 nuclei, with a 150W TDP.

We do not know, however, which specific model is being used when comparing the supposed slide. You can see a sign that there are more details about performance gain, but they have not been shared by the “leak”.
