Intel is expected to reveal its new Battlemage generation of dedicated graphics cards on December 3rd, according to information from VideoCardz. The website claims to have confirmed with its sources that the company communicated to its partners the launch of two GPU models at the beginning of the month: the Arc B580 and the Arc B570.
The current leak not only mentions the announcement date, but also the days on which the cards will have their official launch, which are also close. Also according to unofficial information, the Battlemage GPU reference models will arrive on December 12th, nine days after the announcement.
On that date, the embargo on reviews for new Intel graphics cards should also come to an end. The following day, December 13th, reviews of customized models of Battlemage GPUs will appear, that is, the AIB video cards that are generally purchased by the end consumer.
VideoCardz did not receive information regarding entry or premium models in the Battlemage line. Intel seems interested in drawing attention to its mid-range graphics cards first, and may talk about other options after the products are officially revealed.
Battlemage B570 has not yet appeared in leaks
So far we have only had one significant leak from the Arc B580 in the Battlemage line. The Arc B570, which is expected to be announced at the same time, has not yet appeared. This may have to do with Intel’s intention to begin by revealing its reference design of the cards, known as the Limited Edition.
