The same studio that had stated that it was leaving Intel Raptor Lake CPUs aside, went on to state that the problems with this series also affected mobile SKUs. In response, Intel has denied that this could happen in the same way as seen with desktop processors.
Intel has been quiet about reports of issues with its 13th and 14th-gen Raptor Lake desktop CPUs, but it has decided to address the accusation that the same issues extend to mobile SKUs, the company told Digital Trends.
Intel is aware of a small number of reports of instability on 13th/14th Gen Intel Core mobile processors. Based on our in-depth analysis of the instability issues reported on 13th/14th Gen desktop CPUs, Intel has determined that mobile products are not exposed to the same issue.

The company goes on to say that these “symptoms” seen on Raptor Lake mobile CPUs, “are common symptoms resulting from a wide range of possible software and hardware problems“.
“As always, if users are experiencing issues with their Intel-based laptops, we recommend contacting their system manufacturer for further assistance.“, concludes Intel.
Intel has not taken much of a stance on the issue
This statement is in response to a post by the CEO of the studio Alderon Games on Reddit, where he said that “several notebooks that presented failures with the same crashes“. He further stated that it is “a little rarer to happen” regarding the failures of desktop CPUs.
When we first reported this issue months ago, there were reports that the issues were related to the top-of-the-line 13th and 14th-generation Intel Core processors, meaning the Core i9 13900 and 14900 and their variants would be the most affected.
Now, according to a survey by Warframe developers, the SKUs mentioned above are among the most affected, with some Core i7 processors coming in close behind. They have assured that they will be releasing improvements to alleviate this problem for their players soon.
Intel has been quiet about these issues with its Raptor Lake processors. There are even indications that it is refusing to RMA and stating that users should update their motherboard BIOS and firmware to resolve the issue.
