A new Core Ultra 7 270K Plus leak has appeared on the Geekbench database. The processor will be the successor to the Core Ultra 7 265K, which has already undergone several downward price adjustments. It dropped significantly after adjusting the suggested price to US$284 (R$1,550.58), and then to almost US$200 (R$1,091.96).

Now, Intel would be preparing its Core Ultra 200S Plus update, which will feature three new SKUs, each with some new features. Among them is the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, a chip with a greater number of cores and higher clock speeds.

The Core Ultra 7 270K Plus is an upgrade to the Core Ultra 7 265K and features a higher number of cores, with 24 cores compared to the 20 cores of its predecessor. As the processor is based on an 8+16 configuration, the number of E cores has increased, while the number of P cores has remained the same.

The chip also has 36 MB of L3 cache and clock speeds of 3.70 GHz (base) and 5.50 GHz (boost). The boost clock is the same as the 265K, but the spec upgrade should provide a considerable increase in performance.

In the leak, the Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus “Arrow Lake Refresh” processor was tested on a Gigabyte Z890 Eagle WIFI7 motherboard with 64 GB of DDR5 memory operating at 4800 MT/s. In terms of performance, the processor scored 3,236 points in the single-core test and 21,475 points in the Geekbench 6 multi-core test.

This means that even with a relatively slow memory configuration, the 270K Plus still outperformed the 265K processor by 5.6% in the single-core test and by 4.2% in the multi-core test, based on official average rating data.

The score is similar to the high-end Core Ultra 9 285K processor, but slightly lower than the previous leak, as the previous benchmarks were performed with 7200 MT/s memory.

It is not expected that the Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus will be launched at this price, but if Intel does it for the same original suggested price of US$384 (R$2,096.56), there will be a big difference, and the performance on offer may not be enough to recommend the 270K Plus over the 265K.

Therefore, the expectation is that Intel will price the chip similarly to the new suggested price or very close, something around US$300 (R$1,637.94). Despite the suggested price, at Kabum, an Intel Core Ultra 7-265KF costs R$ 1,849.99 and an Intel Core Ultra 7-265K costs R$ 1,899.99.

And this means that an MSRP of US$300 will be much more advantageous for the Brazilian scenario.

Intel partners have already started enabling support in the BIOS for their respective 800 series motherboards, so you can expect a launch at CES 2026.
