Intel has delayed the launch of its Core Ultra 200 “Arrow Lake” processors, which were originally scheduled to arrive around October 17, 2024, and the shipment has been rescheduled for October 24 – a week later.
According to internal sources, its presentation remains scheduled for October 10th – which should show the line’s chips and also their specifications, being the first “Ultra” ones to arrive aimed at the desktop market.
The reasons why Intel delayed the launch of its Core Ultra 200 “Arrow Lake” processors by a week have not been disclosed. AMD did the same thing a few months ago, but they were transparent in revealing that their Ryzen 9000 chips needed more tweaks before hitting stores.
As well as the new line of processors, the manufacturer also intends to bring its new “800” motherboards with the Z890 models hitting the market in October. However, it was not revealed whether they remain scheduled for the middle of the month or if they will also be postponed to the following week to accompany the new CPUs.

Preparations for Intel Core Ultra 200 CPUs
Even if I repeat myself, I will paraphrase my colleague and site namesake, Diego Kerber, and echo his phrase “making processors is hard!”. Intel may have gone through some unforeseen issue with the Core Ultra 200 “Arrow Lake” or is just making sure that the launch will not be another problem – among the others that the company goes through.
Five models are expected to hit the market on October 24: the 285K, 265K, 265KF, 245K and 245KF. As is already known, the KF versions have as their main difference the absence of integrated graphics – making the options a little cheaper than the full chip.
Additionally, Intel Core Ultra 200 “Arrow Lake” processors are expected to launch with the following configurations:
- Intel Core Ultra 9 285K – 24 cores (8 performance + 16 efficiency) and up to 5.7 GHz;
- Intel Core Ultra 7 265K – 20 cores (8 performance + 12 efficiency) and up to 5.5 GHz;
- Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF – 20 cores (8 performance + 12 efficiency) and up to 5.5 GHz, does not have integrated graphics;
- Intel Core Ultra 5 245K – 14 cores (6 performance + 8 efficiency) and up to 5.2 GHz;
- Intel Core Ultra 5 245KF – 14 cores (6 performance + 8 efficiency) and up to 5.2 GHz, no integrated graphics
