Intel Core 7 240H appears in benchmark leak with good results

As Intel prepares to launch more affordable versions of its current generation of processors, the leaks keep appearing. This time we have a supposed Intel Core 7 240H listed in the Geekbench performance test results.

The new “non-Ultra” Core was tested on an Acer Nitro ANV15-52 notebook, accompanied by a dedicated RTX 4050 card. Luckily, the test also includes results from the processor’s integrated GPU, without taking into account the component especially aimed at games .

As previous leaks pointed out, the Intel Core 7 240H is based on Raptor Lake. It has 10 cores, 6 of which are dedicated to performance and 4 to efficiency. The base clock is 2.5GHz, while the boost clock reaches practically 5GHz. The processor’s L3 cache is 24MB, the same as the Intel Core 7 250H, according to WCCFTech.

And this comparison with the 250H is interesting because the 240H in this Acer notebook manages to surpass it in the test in question. The Intel Core 7 240H scores 2,687 in single, according to the leak, reaching 13,330 in multi-core. The 250H, in turn, already scored 2,415 points in singles and 13,201 in multis, falling considerably behind in both cases.

Intel Core 7 240H surpasses Arrow Lake for desktop

WCCFTech also notes the fact that the leaked benchmark results for the Core 7 240H place the processor above the Core Ultra 5 225F, from the Arrow Lake line for desktops. This is a processor that also has 10 cores.

Therefore, the benchmark results certainly show interesting potential for Intel’s new processor. Even more so considering that tests with drivers updated after launch can offer even better numbers.
