A possible refresh for the Arrow Lake generation of Intel processors appears in rumors, this time bringing another detail: the new version of the components should focus on an NPU update, ie AI.
Like every rumor and leakage, the information here must be seen with some skepticism, but this is not the first time a Refresh for Arrow Lake has been talked about. For some time it was believed that Intel would not make a second version of this architecture, leaving the Socket LGA-1851 with a single generation of processors. But it seems that the plans have changed.
The post above comes from the well -known Golden Pig Upgrade Pack, which is experiencing privileged information about hardware. He says Arrow Lake Refresh will be done both in S series processors for desktops and hx for notebooks. It also complements the post by saying that “PCs was becoming bigger and stronger.”
While not a new generation itself, a Refresh would mean a little more longevity for the LGA-1851 socket. So far, Intel has not officially confirmed whether this platform will have more than one series of compatible processors.
Arrow Lake Refresh Does it arrive as Core Ultra 300?
Apparently Intel will indeed launch Arrow Lake Refresh components, which can cause confusion with its next generation of Panther Lake processors based on process 18a. This is because all these products can be under the Intel Core Ultra 300 business name umbrella.
