Preparing for the launch of Senua’s Saga Hellblade II, Intel has released a new driver for its Arc GPUs focused on optimizing the Ninja Theory and Microsoft experience – as well as highlighting some other titles for the new version.
According to the manufacturer, the software also improves the latest update made to Starfield, as well as games such as Wuthering Waves and Ubisoft’s new shooter: XDefiant.

Speaking of Starfield, Intel guarantees even more improvements with the new driver for the Bethesda title: they point out that at 1080p resolution and Ultra configuration the user will be able to notice an increase of up to 8% in FPS; while at 1440p on High setting you will see an increase of up to 7% in FPS.
Still, the Intel Arc 101.5522 WHQL driver’s main objective is to improve your GPUs to receive Senua’s Saga Hellblade II on May 21, 2024 – next Tuesday. It is worth noting that Microsoft even released the times for the game to be released, with Brazil included in it. Check it out below:

- In Rest for the Wicked (DX11) there may be intermittent crashes during gameplay;
- Enshrouded (VK) may experience intermittent crashes during gameplay;
- Doom Eternal (VK) may display intermittent flickering in the game menu and during gameplay;
- PugetBench Extended Preset Benchmark may fail to complete some Adobe Premiere Pro processing tests;
- Topaz Video AI may experience errors when exporting videos after using some templates for video enhancement
Intel Core Ultra com GPUs Intel Arc:
- Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora (DX12) may crash while loading the game;
- Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection (DX12) may experience a crash between loading and gameplay;
- PugetBench Extended Preset Benchmark may fail to complete some Adobe Premiere Pro processing tests;
- Blender may crash while rendering some scenes in certain system memory settings;
- Topaz Video AI may display errors when running certain benchmark tests;
- Procyon AI may crash while running benchmark with float32 precision;
- Topaz Video AI may experience errors when exporting videos after using some templates for video enhancement;
- Launching a game with Endurance Gaming enabled may result in VSync persisting after disabling Endurance Gaming during gameplay. One way to reverse the effect is to restart the application
Intel Core CPUs (12th to 14th Generation)
- Dragon Quest X Online (DX9) may experience sporadic crashes during gameplay;
Issues Fixed in Intel Arc Control
- Arc Control may display an intermittent error while trying to enable Virtual Camera and camera preview on Intel Core Ultra chips with Intel Arc GPUs
Known issues on Intel Arc Control:
- Arc Control Studio may corrupt the recording capture file when mouse cursor is enabled during HDR capture;
- Scheduled driver updates may stop working intermittently
