As we get closer to the official announcement of Intel Core Ultra 200 “Arrow Lake-S” processors, leaks are happening. The newest of them reveals the initial lineup, with all the specifications. There are five SKUs from the Core Ultra 9, 7 and 5 lines, K and KF models, equipped with 14 to 24 cores.
The leak, again, comes from China, and could be an indication that the reveal of Intel’s new desktop processors is close to happening. In fact, there are rumors pointing to an announcement, reviews and launch all this October.
Lineup Intel Core Ultra 200
Starting with the high-end CPU that has been appearing in recent leaks, whether in synthetic benchmarks or gaming performance. The Intel Core Ultra 9 285K is equipped with 24 cores, divided into 8 performance and 16 efficient, operating between 3.2 and 5.7 GHz, depending on the need. It has 36 MB of L3 cache and 36 MB of L2 cache.
In the mainstream segment, which was previously represented by the Core i7, we have the Core Ultra 7 265K and its KF variant. The main difference between the two is the lack of integrated graphics in the second model. This SKU has 20 cores (8P+12E), 30 and 36 MB of L3 and L2 cache, respectively. Clocks range from 3.3 to 5.5 GHz.
The Intel Core Ultra 5 245K (and KF) arrives with 14 cores (6P+8E), and is the SKU with the fewest cores in this initial lineup. Operating frequencies range from 3.6 to 5.5 GHz, in addition to 24 and 26 MB of L3 and L2 cache.
All Intel Core Ultra 200 processors support DDR5-6400 memory up to 192 GB in capacity. They all have a base TDP of 125W, but can reach 159W with the Core Ultra 5 and 250W with the other processors in the lineup.
Furthermore, the Arrow Lake-S CPUs will arrive with an NPU delivering 13 TOPS, much less than the 48 TOPS of the mobile SKUs, but still something unprecedented among Intel’s desktop processors. In addition, there are also integrated graphics with 4 Xe cores operating between 1.9 and 2.0 GHz, depending on the SKU. The KF line does not have iGPU.
The Intel Core Ultra 200 processors are expected to be revealed next Thursday (10), with the launch scheduled for October 24th along with the Z890 motherboards and the LGA-1851 socket.
