HP Omen 16 Slim Gamer Notebook features a RTX 5070 and arrives in June

HP is expanding its gamer notebook line this week, offering the new Omen 16 Slim model. The device features a RTX 5070 mobile while trying to keep a thin and light design. It measures only 20mm thick in its thinner part and weighs 2.6kg.

Accompanying the dedicated video card, we have different Intel processor options from the Arrow Lake generation. Interested parties can choose from Core Ultra 5 225h to Core Ultra 9 285h. In memory terms, the options start at 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

As the name indicates, the Omen 16 Slim screen is 16 ”, and the resolution is 2560 x 1600p. It is an IPS panel up to 240Hz frequency and 3ms response time.

As we can see, HP has adopted median specifications to combine with RTX 5070 on OMEN 16 Slim. The Verge also points out that the RGB keyboard lighting is done in four zones instead of customized key LEDs we see in many gamer notebooks.

HP does not yet reveal the price of Omen 16 Slim

The characteristics of the notebook indicate that HP may try to stand out in the price for the Omen 16 Slim. The company, however, still did not want to reveal how much it will charge for the product.

The company’s new gamer notebook was first revealed in the US, with the promise of a June release. That is, with months still missing for your debut, we will have several opportunities yet to discover its price – either in an official disclosure or in some leakage.
