HP launches new zBook Ultra 14 with Strix Halo – Values ​​start at $ 4,296

HP presented this week its latest line of notebooks equipped with Strix Halo processors. The ZBook Ultra 14 series is focused on professional use, offering models from Ryzen Ai Max Pro 385 to Ryzen Ai Max Pro 395, for values ​​that start at $ 4,296 for the most affordable models and exceed $ 8,000 for the most expensive.

The differences between line models are in resolution of screens, memory and capacity, as well as Strix Halo processors, obviously. Thus, all options have the same 14 ”screen, going 1920 x 1200p up to 2880 x 1800p OLED in the most expensive model.

Among the most affordable models we have two options with Ryzen Ai Max Pro 385. The two use 32GB of memory, but one has 512GB of SSD and the other 1TB. They cost US $ 4,296 (R $ 24,739) and US $ 4,945 (R $ 28,476), respectively.

Then we move to Ryzen Ai Max Pro 390, which appears in only one model with 64GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD. The MSRP is $ 5,338 (R $ 30,740).

At the top of the Strix Halo Professional line we have the Ryzen Ai Max Pro 395, which appears in five othed Ultra 14. The most affordable costs $ 5,660 ($ 32,594) and the most advanced brings 128GB and 4TB of SSD for $ 8,250 ($ 47,509).

Interestingly, the second most advanced model on the list, with Ryzen Ai Max Pro 395, 128GB of RAM and 2TB of SSD, appears for $ 4,049 on the HP website. The price is still like this until this post.

It is cheaper than the option with APU Strix Halo most affordable, indicating that it must have been a mistake. The question is, if someone buy for this value, will HP honor the order?
