Coolify began selling Holo Fan this month, the first PC fan in the world to offer “holographic” images in 3D. In fact, the Fan does not project a hologram itself, but takes advantage of the speed at high speed to create this illusion, with a well -differentiated result in the product’s look.
The effect is created by a single strip of LEDs that, spinning quickly, can display gifs or small loop videos that the user chooses. An interesting detail is that the file is stored in Holo Fan itself, it uses the PC connection only for power.
The advantage of this operation is to connect the FAN into any system and be able to use its “holographic” function. The disadvantage is that it cannot be configured directly by the PC, only by an app on your mobile, connecting via Wi-Fi.
The Holo Fan An has 120mm and needs 10W to operate, which is certainly above average for a component of the type. Apparently it is more difficult to supply its integrated memory and “hologram generator” than it would be just to feed ARGB lights.
HOLO FAN PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
Coolify already sells Holo Fan abroad, with the suggested price of $ 60 ($ 343). By the time we wrote this post it has a discount, coming out for $ 46 ($ 263). It is also noteworthy that the product will be offered in two speed options.
Coolify currently offers only the 1,500rpm option, but the company intends to bring a model with up to 2,600rpm, which can already be purchased in pre-sale. Prices are the same for the fastest turning version.

Finally, it is noteworthy that the bearing of the fans is of the Double Ball type and that the LED strip simulates a 103mm screen. Coolify gave details of the performance only for the 2.600rpm model, promising a 52cfm air flow and up to 25.2DBA noise.
