GPus Intel Arc Battlemage G31 and C32 appear in new leakage

Intel arrived ahead with its Arc B570 and B580 in December last year, but follows “quiet” in the dedicated GPUS segment ever since. However, now that it was hard to believe to see a new model for the Battlemage line, we have the leakage of one of the famous transport documents showing a possible new component.

Circles on the Internet the capture of an NBD document that mentions a BMG-G31, the acronym clearly indicating Battlemage. In the listing we can see that the GPU appears as “for research and development purposes”. The G31 nomenclature indicates that it would be a more advanced version than the G21, used in ARC B580 and 570.

The determination of “research and development” for the component, however, could be an indication that it will not have a commercial version. But another manifesto of transport can change this perspective. The document cites a BMG by placing the IBC C32 SKT code.

The name does not seem to relate, but Michael (@miktdt) believes it may be the same modified BMG-G31 GPU. It is an insider with a good history of hits, and he states that “the C32 could simply indicate 32 colors, which would be the fully activated G31.”

Battlemage High-End: Come here or not?

Again rumors circulate on a more advanced Battlemage after a long time of “silence” on this subject. It is worth remembering that at the end of March we had circulated the unofficial information that this same GPU G31, for more advanced models, would have “died” last year in the third quarter.

The component is mentioned again in transport documents may be sufficient to give hope to the most optimistic. However, we cannot highlight the possibility of Intel being moving canceled prototypes of plates for other purposes.
