Google will show more affordable itineraries

Given current air ticket prices, it has become increasingly difficult to search for the most economical prices, but this search seems to be getting a little easier according to Google.

Finding Cheapest Flights on Google

The new feature will arrive in the Google flights area, and arrives as a specific tab when searching for flights, organizing options that only take into account the price. In other words, it can offer an itinerary that is much cheaper, but will last longer, have more stops or even longer connections.

This is actually the resource’s biggest leap forward, as it goes beyond just taking direct flights from one city to another and creates a different but more affordable itinerary. This even includes combining flights from different airlines or even travel agencies. The objective is to find the cheapest way for you to get from A to B.

In addition, it also takes into account all airports close to the city of origin, so it may be that if you take a bus to a nearby city and take a flight from there it will be cheaper than leaving your city’s airport, for example. It gives options and the user decides whether it is worth the effort to save.

If the user likes any of the options, Google Flights automatically directs them to the websites where reservations can be made. In the app itself, it notifies you if you need to buy tickets with different companies, as well as details such as connections.

Google revealed that the new tab has already started to be released to everyone, but that this is happening gradually, so it may take a few weeks for all users to take advantage of the new feature.
