This week, GMKtec presented two new mini PCs, updated with the Intel N150, a processor aimed especially at efficiency and basic everyday tasks. The NucBox G2 Plus and NucBox G3 Plus are now available, two options that fit in the palm of your hand.
Despite offering the same Intel processor, each mini PC model is very different in terms of the rest of the specifications. The NucBox G2 Plus comes with 12GB of LPDDR5-4800 memory and an M.2 SSD with different capacity options: 128, 256 and 512GB. Furthermore, between the two models, it is the smaller and lighter. The small computer measures 87 x 87 x 39.5mm, weighing 0.21kg.
Going to the NucBox G3 Plus we have more configuration options, including one without memories or a barebone storage unit. For those who choose to buy the mini PC with something already equipped, the options are between 8GB and 16GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and SSDs from 256GB to 1TB. This model measures 114 x 106 x 42.5mm, weighing 0.35kg.
Computers also differ in color. The NucBox G2 Plus has different colored cases, while the G3 Plus has two options: one green and one gray. GMKtec’s new Intel N150-powered mini PCs also offer Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, with support for 4K HDMI up to 60Hz.

GMKtec claims that “powered by the Intel N150, the NucBox G2 Plus and G3 Plus will satisfy your needs without breaking the bank.” In other words, the company would have sought affordable prices for the products.
In practice, the NucBox G3 Plus costs from US$126 for its barebone version, while the G2 Plus costs from US$150. This amounts to approximately R$780 and R$928, respectively, in the current dollar exchange rate.
