GMKTEC presented the EVO-X2, its new generation of AMD Strix Point-based mini-PC that has several significant changes compared to the previous model, the EVO-X1. It comes equipped with an Ai Max 395+ Ryzen and, consequently, has powerful integrated Radeon 8060s graphics.
Other changes include a larger design and a seemingly larger number of interfaces. The presentation of the product was during AMD AI Summit in China, which is happening this week in Beijing. A first announcement was made during CES 2025.
EVO-X2 does not maintain the compact 4 × 4 inch standard, such as Intel Nuc. It is estimated that its size will be approximately 17.5 cm² (6.8 inches), based on approximate pixels measurements.
As for the color scheme, GMKTEC replaces the black/silver look with an elegant black/gold. The power button remains in vibrant green color and fan adjustment button is positioned at the top for direct control.
