GMKtec announced this week the NucBox M7 Ultra, a new mini PC aimed at work and productivity. Small enough to be hung directly behind the monitor, the compact computer is equipped with a Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U as a processor.
As the “PRO” in the name indicates, this is a work-oriented AMD APU variant. It offers 8 cores and 16 threads clocked at up to 4.7GHz at max boost, while maintaining a TDP of 54W. This should be enough for many functions and multitasking without major CPU stress.
On the graphics side we have an integrated Radeon 680M, which should be enough for editing videos and working with some 3D software. You can even play some things in your free time, but for those who want to boost their graphics performance, GMKtec placed an OCuLink connection on the front of the NucBox M7 Ultra, making it easier to connect the mini PC to an eGPU.
Speaking of connections, on the front the mini PC also has two USB-A 3.2 ports and one USB-C 4.0 with DisplayPort. On the back we have another USB-C 4.0 with DP, an HDMI 2.1 port and a DisplayPort 2.0, for a total of four video connections. The mini PC also offers two Ethernet connections and two more USB-A 2.0.

GMKtec M7 Ultra brings different configurations and prices
The new M7 Ultra mini PC is now available on the official GMKtec website, with three configuration options and very competitive prices.
The barebone model, which comes without a drive and RAM, costs US$310 (R$1,655). The version with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD brings the price to US$370 (R$1,975), while the model with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD costs (R$2,296). The three variants come equipped with the Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U.
