A Dell took advantage of CES 2026 to introduce the world to a true productivity giant: the Monitor 6K Dell Thunderbolt (U5226KW).
With 52 inches and a curved panel, this launch aims to replace multiple monitor configurations with a single high-density ultra-wide screen.
The announcement took place this Tuesday (6), along with the revelation of a new model 32-inch QD-OLED focused on creative professionals.
A 52-inch giant with 6K resolution
The highlight of the presentation is the new Monitor 6K Dell Thunderboltwhich aims to be the first in the world in its category with technology IPS Black.
The curved screen 52 inches offers massive resolution and image density 129 pixels per inch (PPI).
For those looking for fluidity even in office or editing tasks, the display has a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The technology IPS Black used in the panel aims to deliver deeper blacks and greater contrast, surpassing the traditional limits of common IPS panels. Dell claims the monitor emits up to 60% less blue light harmful compared to competitors, while maintaining the color accuracy necessary for professional work.
An ambient light sensor automatically adjusts brightness for eye comfort during long usage sessions.
Thunderbolt 4 Connectivity and Hub
As the name suggests, connectivity is a strong point of Monitor 6K Dell Thunderbolt. The device works as a central hub for the setup, allowing up to four PCs to be connected simultaneously.
To main door Thunderbolt 4 provides up to 140W of power delivery, enough to charge high-performance notebooks with a single cable.
To facilitate access to peripherals, the monitor has retractable front doors, including two 27W USB-C e a 10W USB-A. The resource of KVM integration makes it possible to control all connected machines using just a keyboard and mouse.
The functionality “Picture-by-Picture” (PiP) allows you to divide the screen into partitions that the operating system recognizes as individual monitors, optimizing workflow on high-end hardware.
UltraSharp 32 4K QD-OLED for Creators
In addition to the giant model, the brand introduced the Dell UltraSharp 32 4K QD-OLED (U3226Q). This monitor is specifically aimed at video editors, colorists e designers that demand absolute loyalty.
The panel QD OLED delivers infinite contrast and true blacks, with DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification and 99% of DCI-P3 color space.
An important novelty of this model is the anti-reflective coatingsomething rare in glossy OLED screens. Dell has implemented low-reflection technology to allow use in bright environments without compromising color perception.
The monitor also includes an integrated colorimeter for calibration and color support. Dolby Vision HDR.
