Rumors and leaks about the RTX 50 series of graphics cards indicate that NVIDIA will launch the entry-level models of the Blackwell generation last. So, we haven’t yet had much information about the RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti, but now WCCFTech claims to have discovered the memory configurations of these cards.
Not surprisingly, NVIDIA should continue with 16GB of VRAM for the RTX 5060 Ti, leaving the RTX 5060 with 8GB. In both cases, the company must use GDDR7 components on the cards, with a 128-bit interface and allowing frequencies of up to 28Gbps for each card.
Using these numbers as a base, the RTX 5060 Ti can offer a total bandwidth of 448GB/s, which represents memory performance up to 55% higher than the standard RTX 4060 Ti. WCCFTech recalls that the 4060 Ti at its launch had 8GB of memory, gaining a version with 16GB later. Thus, the 5060 Ti has twice the capacity compared to the products’ debut.
Finally, obviously, the RTX 5060 will be the entry model with 8GB and, possibly, reduced GDDR7 frequencies for lower power settings. NVIDIA may launch versions with more capacity as the price of GDDR7 drops, but at debut the card comes with 8GB, according to unofficial information.
We are a few months away from the RTX 5060 Ti and 5060
Anyone who follows the news about NVIDIA’s new RTX 50 series knows that the bets are on CES 2025 for the official reveal of these cards. The first models to become available to consumers are expected to be the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080.
Recent leaks about details of the RTX 5070 Ti also indicate that this version of the card will arrive even before the standard model, the RTX 5070. Thus, NVIDIA would maintain the “degressive” order in performance and price at the launch of its Blackwell GPUs.

Therefore, the entry-level RTX 5060 Ti and 5060 models are expected at the end of the first quarter of 2025. Probably at the end of February or March for the announcement of these NVIDIA graphics card options.
