GEEKOM Mini PC Brings Liquid Cooling and High Performance

GEEKOM’s new mini PC may not be as “mini” as other options, but it bets on high performance with liquid cooling to attract attention. The Mega Mini G1 brings a Core i9-13900H and a GeForce RTX 4060 in a very futuristic case that does not hide the internal components.

Despite its striking appearance and large size, GEEKOM’s mini PC is still much smaller than a traditional desktop. It measures 250 x 150 x 150mm – that is, basically 5cm shorter than an Xbox Series X. However, a large part of its size is dedicated to housing the cooler’s radiator, as you can see from the images.

Taking advantage of the extra cooling, the Mega Mini G1’s RTX 4060 runs at 120W, up from its standard 115W TDP. GEEKOM’s idea is to showcase the overclocking potential of its mini PC, and the company has even released some benchmark results for the product:

The little beast will launch with 1TB or 2TB of storage options, and RAM is capped at 32GB. It supports Wi-Fi 6E, Thunderbolt 4, and OCuLink for those who plan on connecting an external GPU.

Price and availability of the new GEEKOM mini PC

Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not yet released a specific release date or price for the Mega Mini G1. However, the brand did provide VideoCardz with an estimated price, saying the mini PC will cost around $1,000 at launch. More information has been promised for IFA Germany in September.

As companies try to stand out in the mini PC segment, it’s interesting to see an alternative that doesn’t focus so much on size. After all, there are many options that focus on having the most compact product possible – sometimes resorting to questionable gimmicks like simply putting a screen on top of the PC.
