GameMax launches N80 case with two independent compartments

GameMax has revealed its new N80 case this week. The chassis features curved tempered glass panels on the front and sides, giving the internal components a panoramic view. However, if you look through the panel, you won’t find a power supply inside the case, because the N80 has a completely separate compartment for the component.

It’s not uncommon for cases to create internal dividers for the bottom, where the power supply usually goes, but GameMax has made a truly independent compartment. In the chamber, which is below the rest of the setup, there is also a structure with two bays for HDDs. However, it is possible to remove this structure to make even more space for the power supply.

In the upper chamber, the GameMax N80 can accommodate ATX, m-ATX and ITX boards, along with a cooler measuring up to 175mm in height for the processor. The video card can be up to 415mm tall, and there is space for two SSDs as well, vertically. The diagram below shows how the assembly works better:

The manufacturer says it created the design to improve the build’s cooling, as each compartment has its own ventilation system. There is also space for air to pass from the bottom to the top of the chamber, which helps cool the more expensive components, according to GameMax.

GameMax N80 is also available in white

The new N80 case is now available in the US in black and white. For some reason, GameMax will charge extra for the white version of the chassis:

• N80 White: US$ 165,90 (R$ 920)
• N80 Black: US$ 159,90 (R$ 887)

Counting the two compartments, the cabinet measures 530mm in height, by 439mm in length, with the side measuring 240.5mm.

The company also offers optional PCIe 4.0 riser cables and brackets to mount the GPU vertically, but did not disclose the price of the accessories.
