- The Galaxy S26 line should be launched between January and February 2026.
An image of a case for the Galaxy S26 Ultra indicates that Samsung’s next high-end smartphone may receive a new camera module design. The device’s three main lenses would be on an island, higher than the rest of the cell phone’s back.
The images were shared by “leaker” Tarun Vats, who usually posts information about Samsung products on his X account. The case in question would not be official from Samsung, so it is possible that this design is different from the final product.
What does the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s new camera module look like?

In the images, you can see that the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s three largest lenses would be aligned vertically, in a prominent module in the same color as the smartphone, with circular edges. Next to this island, there are two more lenses and the LED used as a flash and torch.
The tallest camera module has already been used by Samsung in Galaxy A line devices, such as the A56, A36 and A26. In them, however, this part of the back is a different color from the rest of the cell phone.
The camera organization is practically identical to that of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The difference is that, in the current model, the island does not exist, and only the lenses are higher in relation to the back of the cell phone.
The S25 Ultra has a 200 megapixel main camera, a 10 megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, a 50 megapixel periscopic camera with 10x optical zoom and, finally, a 50 megapixel ultrawide. The fifth lens is actually a laser used in autofocus.
What are the other rumors about the Galaxy S26 Ultra?
In previous leaks and renders, the Galaxy S26 Ultra appeared with flat sides and rounded corners. The power on/lock screen and volume control buttons are on the right of the device.
Additionally, there is some preliminary information about possible technical specifications:
- 6.9-inch AMOLED display with improvements in brightness and color accuracy
- Technology that imitates a privacy film when activated
- Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600 chip, depending on region
- Camera with some improvements over the current model, including a telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom
- Charging up to 60W
- Vibrant orange color
- Magnets in Qi2 wireless charging standard
The Galaxy S26 line should be presented between January and February 2026, as has become tradition at Samsung.
