Galax prepares his first black hof edition for the RTX 50 series

Galax prepares a new RTX 50 with the special treatment of its Hall of Fame Edition line, famous for offering the most advanced AIB on video cards. But this time what draws the most attention is that the company is creating a variant in black for the new GPU.

As you can clearly see the teaser below, the next Galax RTX 50 Hof Edition will come black. This is the first time we will have a GPU of this line without its traditional white color.

As Videocardz points out, the color has always been a highlight of the Hof Edition plates, with some models coming with the PCB painted blank. It is curious, then, that the company has decided to launch a model with the most common color that exists in hardware components.

Unfortunately the teaser shows only one detail of the board, without revealing which specific model of RTX 50 will win its Hof Edition in black. What we can see in the image, too, is the fit for the emblematic crown of the line. Thus, we can expect this black variant to also have its crown as an optional accessory in the same color.

What will be the Galax Hof Edition in black?

Videocardz points out that Galax has already made its special edition for RTX 5090D plates, 5080, 5070 Ti and 5070. It is very likely that we will see one of these with the different color.

Another detail we can see from the image is the single 16 -pin connector, so perhaps we can expect a more advanced model. However, the HOF Edition of RTX 5090D famously uses two 16 -pin connectors – which made the plate a world overclocks record holder. Thus, it will probably not be this variant with the new color.

Anyway, the plaque is expected to have no world availability, as usually happens for HOF models. We will probably see more information on Computex 2025.
