Manufacturer Galax announced the launch of its new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti GPU for the “MetalTop Classic” line, which will be produced completely in aluminum and will be launched exclusively for the Chinese market.
The graphics card maintains the originality of the line that was seen in several other models, but instead of bringing a bold design like the other GeForce RTX 40, they invested in a simplified model for this version.

Galax’s GeForce RTX 4060 TI MetalTop Classic GPU is equipped with three fans – 92mm in diameter and 11 blades each – and its cooling system has six nickel-plated heatpipes, designed to provide more efficient heat dissipation.
In terms of specifications, the GPU follows most of NVIDIA’s standards: it will have 4,352 CUDA cores and a capacity of 8GB. What differs is its factory overclock, reaching up to 2,565 MHz (30 MHz more than the standard model).
Galax also revealed that its GeForce RTX 4060 Ti MetalTop Classic will use an 8-pin power connector. What really catches the eye is that it claims that its graphics card requires 165W of TDP – which is only seen in the 16GB version. It’s difficult to say whether they got confused or whether the model was actually manufactured this way.
The Galax and the GeForce RTX 4060Ti
According to Galax itself, its GeForce RTX 4060 Ti MetalTop Classic is now available for purchase in China – via JD – and will cost 3,299 RMB. In conversion to dollars today, it is approximately $456. It has not been announced whether they will produce a 16GB version later or not.
It is worth noting that the manufacturer recently promised some other different models for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti GPU in addition to an entry in the MetalTop Classic line. A version of the graphics card with a single slot and just one fan in the blower model was announced last month – this contains 16GB and is intended for use in servers.
