Gainward Launches Python III Series of RTX 40 Super Cards with SFF Design

Gainward has introduced three new RTX 40 Super card options in its new Python III series. The custom GPU models meet the SFF format, trying to offer cards with a reduced size compared to what is currently in the segment.

In terms of design, the new RTX 40 Super in the Python III series are identical. We have cards in black with three fans that can be considered discreet. They measure 294 x 116 x 49.5mm, following the SFF design guidelines established by Nvidia.

Below, details for the new RTX 40 Python:

RTX 4080 Super Python III:
– Clock: até 2550MHz (boost)
– Memória: 16GB GDDR6X (256-bit)
– CUDA Cores: 10240

RTX 4070 Ti Super Python III:
– Clock: up to 2610MHz (boost)
– Memória: 16GB GDDR6X (256-bit)
– CUDA Cores: 8448

RTX 4070 Super Python III:
– Clock: up to 2475MHz (boost)
– Memory: 12GB GDDR6X (192-bit)
– CUDA Cores: 7168

Gainward doesn’t mention it in its announcement about the new cards, but each of the three RTX 40 Super models also has OC versions. The RTX 4070 Super comes in at 2640MHz, the 4070 Ti Super goes to 2640MHz and the RTX 4080 Super goes to 2580MHz. These are subtle differences and unfortunately we don’t know how much the price will change, because the manufacturer didn’t disclose prices.

Variety of RTX 40 cards grows while RTX 50 is yet to arrive

While we wait for Nvidia to launch the new generation of Blackwell-based RTX 50 cards, the RTX 40 variants keep multiplying.

In addition to the differences between standard and Super models that already appeared in previous generations, the new SFF variants also expand the options. In addition, we now also have RTX 4070 cards using GDDR6 memory instead of GDDR6X.

It is also worth remembering that Gainward is one of the manufacturers that does not make it clear on the boxes of its products which specific type of memory an RTX 4070 is using.
