G.SKILL, a renowned high-performance memory manufacturer, announced a new DDR5-6400 CL30 memory kit with 96 GB capacity (2×48 GB). This release combines high capacity and low latency, being designed to meet the demands of platforms that require high performance, such as those based on chipsets Intel Z890 e AMD X870.
The new kit, available on the Trident Z5 RGB and Trident Z5 Royal lines, uses the overclocking profile Intel XMP 3.0 to facilitate configuration on compatible systems.
During testing, G.SKILL demonstrated the kit operating at DDR5-6400 CL30-39-39-102 on a motherboard ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Heroequipped with a processor Intel Core Ultra 7 265K.
Furthermore, the kit has also been tested on platforms AMD. In a demo with the motherboard ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Hero and the processor AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3Dmemory performance remained stable at the same frequency and latency setting.
Capacity and launch options
In addition to the main configuration of 96GB (2×48GB)G.SKILL plans to launch variants of 64 GB (2×32 GB) e 48 GB (2×24 GB). These kits will be distributed globally starting in the first quarter of 2025.
