G.Skill posted on its official website this week that managed to bring its new CAMM2 DDR5 memories to the 10,000mt/s mark in overclocking. The achievement was achieved on a modified Asus Z890 motherboard with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K processor.
The DIMM modules recently began to exceed the 10,000mt/s barrier in performance thanks to the introduction of CKD controllers, resulting in known Cudimm components. Meanwhile, the new CAMM2 memories are still in the early stages of their commercial availability, so G.Skill tests show great performance potential.
“G.Skill is always looking for overclocking performance in memory when possible. With the development of CAMM2 format and cooperation with ASUS Rog team, demonstrating stability is the first step in offering overclocking memories in future hardware platforms,” the company says in its official post.
“In this case, the 64GB G.Skill Camm2 module is overclocked for DDR5-10000 cl52 and running MemTest up to 100% of the coverage on a modified Asus Rog Maximus Z890 Hero Camm2 (…) plate.”

As you would imagine, the module G.Skill used on her test is not yet a finished product. It is evident by the company not to disclose its trade name.
