G.Skill debuts 128GB DDR5 kits and reaches impressive speeds with new 64GB modules

G.Skill officially presented its new DDR5 memory modules with 64GB per unit. The news comes in 128GB (64GB X2) kits, bringing a new solution to those seeking high performance with stability in demanding tasks – from games to professional applications.

The expansion of the Trident Z5 Royal line is the beginning of the age of high capacity modules for the brand, which now meets the demand for larger kits without reducing operating speeds.

In the tests released, G.Skill has shown two distinct scenarios of use. One of the 128GB kits operated the DDR5-8000 with latencies CL44-58-58using an AMD Ryzen 9 9950x processor in conjunction with the ASUS Rog Crosshair X870E APEX motherboard.

Already another set of 64gb (32gb x2) reached impressive 9000 mt/s In CL48-64-64, paired with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K and Asus Rog Maximus Z890 Apex.

The configuration demonstrates great stability in very high frequencies thanks to the flexibility of new kits on AMD and Intel platforms.

The choice of two 64GB modules instead of the traditional four combs allows better thermal and electric control, benefiting those who work with simulations, rendering, AI, Big Data or heavy games with intense multitasking.
