FusionXpark GB10, the NVIDIA DGX Spark from xFusion, bets on looks to differentiate itself

NVIDIA officially began selling its compact AI supercomputer, the DGX Spark, in mid-October. Since then, variants from the company’s partners have appeared that offer basically the same product, in different casings. It’s similar to what is done in the GPU market, but for a much more expensive system.

To compete with several models based on the DGX Spark, xFusion bet on the look to draw attention to its FusionXpark GB10. It comes equipped with the same NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip as other mini PCs, but with a different casing.

The first detail that catches the eye is the front panel of the new computer, in metallic gold with ripple effects to give movement to the shine. Interested parties can also opt for a silver version of the product.

In addition, xFusion’s DGX Spark features “ambient lighting”, in the form of a discreet strip of LEDs that illuminates the surroundings of the mini PC – neon style of tuned cars. Finally, to give a personalized touch to the look, buyers can choose a signature to be engraved on top of the FusionXpark case.

FusionXpark is similar to the DGX Spark inside

As mentioned, the FusionXpark uses the same processor as the DGX Spark, with 20 ARM cores and 6,144 CUDA cores. xFusion claims that its small computer can run local inference on models with up to 200 billion parameters, and comes with ConnectX-7 support, to use two at the same time and reach 405 billion parameters.

Even in terms of memory, the system remains similar, coming with 128GB of LPDDR5X RAM and two storage options. Buyers will be able to choose the system with a 1TB or 4TB NVMe M.2 SSD drive.
