Further details of Radeon RX 9070 GRE are leaked: 3,072 nuclei and 12GB of memory

Rumors say AMD is preparing a GRE RX RX RX 9070, which can replace the Non XT model of the RX 9070 in some markets. Now we have new unofficial information that details a little more of product specifications, according to Videocardz.

Apparently, the GRE RX 9070 (GREAT RADEON EDITION) will use a Navi -based GPU with 3,072 centers (Stream Processors). This means that 25% of the GPU nuclei will be disabled.

The site also reports that the plate clock would reach 2.79GHz in Boost, which is larger than that offered by the RX 9070, but not enough to surpass it in the final TFLOP count. The GRE RX 9070 would be in 17.1, while the standard RX RX 9070 offers 18.

In the memory part, Videocardz reiterates the 12GB of GDDR6 capacity that had already appeared in the first leaks of the GRE RX 9070. The site says it will be 192-bit of Bus, with 18gbps clock, for a total band of 432GB/s, considerably smaller than other RX 9070 models.

Where is AMD to launch Radeon RX 9070 GRE?

As we are in the rumor phase, it is good to maintain skepticism with the information about Radeon RX 9070 GRE. However, if the plate is confirmed, the question is which markets AMD intends to explore with the product.

By specifications, the company seems to put the GRE RX 9070 between the RX 9070 and the RX 9060 XT, which can make the model an interesting alternative to overcome RTX 5060 TI – depending on the price.
