The RTX 5050, which should be the last release of the RTX 50 series before starting super models, can make your debut just tomorrow, the 24th, in notebooks. This is what indicates a well -known insider from the hardware world, when sharing a mechrevo post.
Chinese notebook manufacturer Mechrevo released this week a teaser for one of its notebooks, scheduled for debut on June 26. According to information from the image, the device would come equipped with “a new GPU for notebooks.” The “leak” @realvictor_m has already posted the image stamping that it is RTX 5050.
Going through logic, the kick makes sense. We don’t have any “new GPU for notebooks” scheduled for the near future other than the RTX 5050. Previous leaks already indicated that the mobile plate should make its debut in June, and the month is already ending.
It would be curious to see the sign appearing first in Chinese products, and without official announcement of Nvidia. At least a few hours left to find out if the leakage is really correct.
RTX 5050 Vai Usar GDDR6 OU GDDR7?
If the first RTX 5050 notebooks actually make their debut tomorrow in China, we will finally know if the GPU uses 8GB GDDR7 or GDDR6.
Leaks of the RTX 50 family entry model have already pointed to both generations of memories. Even more recent rumors indicate that Nvidia would use GDDR7 in the notebook version and GDDR6 in the GPU desktop version. Tomorrow maybe we will have the answer to at least half of the charade.
It is worth mentioning that while the teaser refers to a launch in China, it should not take long to see the notebooks equipped with RTX 5050 here as well. For a long time they have begun to appear on listing of the official websites of companies that sell here, and even in stores.
For PCs, only after
The RTX 5050 for notebook appears in rumors a long time ago, while the desktop PC version started having information circulating more recently. And this may be due to the fact that the GPUS will probably not be released together.
