First image leak of the RTX 5090 confirms 32GB of GDDR7 memory

After leaked images of the RTX 5080 boxes, we now have the appearance of the top of the Blackwell range: the RTX 5090. The GPU appeared in its iChill X3 model, by Inno3D, accompanied by the box. Thus, the image once again attests to the 32GB GDDR7 memory capacity for the card.

Unlike the images that showed us the supposed boxes for the RTX 5080, in this case the GPU itself appears. We can see the robust 3.5-slot design of the Inno3D GeForce RTX 5090 iChill X3, with three fans, metal details and stripes of RGB lights. What you can’t see, however, is the number of power connectors.

The RTX 5090 should be the only one to use the GB2020 GPU at the debut of the RTX 50 line, equipped with 21,760 CUDA cores and 32GB of memory, as so many leaks have indicated, including this one. The memory must run at 28Gbps with a 512-bit bus, for a total bandwidth of 1.8TB/s. Therefore, a considerable jump in specifications is expected between the RTX 5090 and the next model in the line, the RTX 5080.

Today, January 6th, at 4pm (Brasília time), the NVIDIA keynote will take place for the opening of CES 2025.

This event has been expected for months to reveal the company’s new series of Blackwell-based home graphics cards. The first models to appear should be the most advanced, which include the RTX 5090, the RTX 5080 and the RTX 5070. There are rumors that the RTX 5070 Ti may appear together as well.
