News about NVIDIA’s RTX 50 line of Blackwell-based GPUs has started to leak at a rapid pace as we approach CES 2025. Now we have supposed information with almost complete spec details for the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070. In other words, the options considered “intermediate” for the new generation of video cards.
The leak comes from kopite7kimi, known for getting his unofficial insider scoop on the world of hardware right. In two consecutive posts, the “leaker” revealed information about the RTX 5070 Ti and then the RTX 5070, accompanied by a “Merry Christmas”.
Starting with the RTX 5070 Ti, the die appears marked as GB203-300A1, equipped with 8,960 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 memory, with a 256-bit memory bandwidth. The board’s TDP would be 300W and the model code is PG147-SKU60.
In comparison, the RTX 4070 Ti offers 7,680 CUDA cores, has 192-bit bandwidth and 12GB of memory. The card’s TDP is not much lower, standing at 285W.

Going to the RTX 5070, Kopite says that the card uses the GB205-300-A1 chip, with 6,144 CUDA cores, 192-bit and 12GB of capacity, accompanied by 250W of TDP. The product code is PG146/147-SKU70. We can see that this option has similar specs to the 4070 Ti.
The RTX 4070, in comparison, has 5,888 cores, 192-bit and also 12GB of memory, with TDP already dropping further, up to 200W.
RTX 5070 Ti is not that far from the RTX 5080
So far, all the leaks indicate that the RTX 5090 will represent a big jump in specs compared to the next model in the Blackwell line, the RTX 5080. It seems, however, that this will be the biggest distance between two models of RTX 50, as indicated in the specs for intermediate GPUs.
We can see in the table above, organized by VideoCardz, that the RTX 5070 Ti does not have such a drastic hardware reduction compared to the 5080 – both in memory capacity and in CUDA core count.
Now we just need to know whether these differences in specs will lead to proportional changes in the prices of each model.
