A Strix Halo It’s real and leaked on the Geekbench website, where the performance of the GPU is presented instead of the CPU. The full name of the product is “AMD RYZEN AI MAX+ PRO 395 com Radeon 8060S”, confirming that the main SKU will include “MAX” but will not use “9” like the Strix Point series.
In practice, the previous Golden Pig Upgrade leak was confirmed, with the GPU identified as Radeon 8060S Graphics.

It has been confirmed that AMD’s new APU has 16 cores Zen 5supposedly with boost up to 5.1 GHz. The “PRO” in the name suggests a workstation version, but it’s not yet clear whether a non-PRO model will also be available.
There is also emphasis on the 32MB L3 cache per CCDwhich results in a total of 64MB.

Performance
The Radeon 8060S scored 67,004 points in Geekbench’s Vulkan test. The result is lower than the slowest product in the discrete Radeon RX 7600 RDNA 3 family, which scored 90,577 points in the same test.
Even with more cores (40CU vs 32CU), the Radeon 8060S will still be limited as it is an integrated solution.
The Geekbench website is a cross-platform benchmark that measures hardware power for activities such as checking email, taking a photo or playing music, or everything at once. The tool uses practical, everyday scenarios to measure performance, with test tasks found in popular applications.
Not only that, the site allows users to share the tests they have performed on their hardware.

AMD is expected to announce the Strix Halo during CES 2025 in January. This is the first APU spotted and appears to be using AMD’s reference board design codenamed AMD MAPLE-STXH and 64GB of memory.
In 2025, CES 2025 takes place from January 7th to 10th in Las Vegas and already has the confirmed participation of 296 companies on the Fortune 500 list, which presents the 500 largest American companies by tax revenue.
