Crucial, a subsidiary of Micron Technology, announced during CES 2025 a broad update to its portfolio of memory e storageintroducing the Crucial P510 SSD and new density and format options in its DRAM lineup.
With these new features, the brand seeks to meet growing demands for performance and flexibility for consumers, from gamers to creative professionals.
Launch of the Crucial P510 SSD
The highlight of the line is the Crucial P510 SSD, which brings read and write speeds of up to 11,000 MB/s 9,550 MB/srespectively. Aimed at laptops and desktops, the model adopts a more efficient architecture, consuming 25% less energy compared to previous Gen 5 SSDs.
Offered in versions of 1TB and 2TBthe P510 includes an integrated heatsink and single-sided design, making it easy to install in compact, Gen 5-enabled devices.
Additionally, Crucial expanded the lineup with a heatsink-equipped version of the Crucial P310 2280 SSD. Compatible with PlayStation 5 and desktops, the model offers reading speeds of up to 7,100 MB/sensuring fast, reliable storage for games and creative tasks.

- DDR5 Pro Plug-and-Play: First DDR5 solution with heatsink in density 64 GB. Sold as a kit 128 GBmeets the demands of intensive applications such as 8K video editing and 3D modeling.
- DDR5 CUDIMM/CSODIMM: Now with densities of up to 64 GB in formats aimed at compact PCs and workstations.
- DDR5 UDIMM/SODIMM Classic: Presented in the density of 64 GB with speeds of 5.600 MT/ssupporting new generation multicore CPUs.
- MRDIMM: Modules designed to scale artificial intelligence and high-performance computing applications, now available on the market.
