
The crucial announced the new SSD T710 during Computex 2025 in Taipei, Taiwan. The model operates in the PCI 5.0 interface, Promising speeds of up to 14.9 GB/SE 2.2 million IOPS and bringing significant improvements to its predecessor, the T705.
In addition to the T710, the crucial revealed the new X10 portable SSDS series, which offers up to 8TB of storage in a compact and elegant design. The company also presented a USB4 SSD prototype, capable of reaching speeds of up to 4GB/s.

The new crucial T710 SSD comes with a thinner design, allowing for installation on notebooks, and a reduced energy consumption that provides less heating.
The model will be available In versions with and without heat sinkand SSDs without dissipping will be released on June 1st. Already the versions with dissipator will hit the market in the next quarter. So far, the crucial has not disclosed the prices.
The crucial T710 reaches up to 2.2 million random reading IOPs and 1.8 million random writing IOPsa significant increase of up to 42% compared to the T705. It also has 67% and 80% reduction in energy consumption during reading and random writing operations.

The crucial also launched the X10 Series of Portable SSDs, bringing reading speeds up to 2,100 MB/s, twice the previous model. SSD operates via USB Gen 3.3 x2 and is available in 1TB, 2TB, 4TB, 6TB and 8TB capabilities.
The models come with the New SM2322 controller and IP65 certificationwhich certifies dust and water resistance, besides being proof of falls of up to 3 meters. With compact design, it is elegant and light, being ideal for mobility.
In addition, the crucial demonstrated a USB4 SSD prototype, with Impressive speeds of 4,000 MB/SE 3,700 MB/s in Reading and Writing Tests. Although not confirmed for commercialization, technology promises to revolutionize external storage.
