CPU-Z 2.16 brings support for Ryzen Z2 CPUs and input GPUs of the RTX 50 series

Those who follow Adrenaline’s hardware reviews should already know CPU-Z, an important free hardware diagnosis software. The app now reaches its 2.16 version, now available for download, bringing support to various new components between CPUS and GPUS.

The main news of the update involve AMD CPUs. According to the CPU-Z Changelog, version 2.16 offers:

• Ryzen Z2 and Z2 Extreme Support (Strix Point)
• Ryzen Support 9 8945HX and 8940HX, Ryzen 7 8840HX and 8745HX (Dragon Range Refresh)
• Improvement in Ryzen Support AI 7 350 and Ryzen AI 5 340 (Krackan or Kraken Point)

As both Nvidia and AMD made their video cards available following the order of the most expensive for the cheapest, the input models are now appearing in CPU-Z. This goes for both RTX 50 and Radeon RX 9000.
